Music is best when shared

Every lyric, instrument or joint project brings a new colour to the canvas. Collaboration lets me stretch beyond my own boundaries and tap into the unique energies that only shared musical experiences create. Whether it’s co-writing, producing, or music curating, each project becomes a learning curve and a celebration of mutual respect.

Here are some great partners I met with on my musical journey

Collaboration details

Brian “Big skinny” martin

Songwriter, Storyteller & Musician

A White Rock B.C.–based songwriter, author, and retired air traffic controller, Brian brings rich stories to life through lyrics and performance. Ryan first collaborated with Brian as part of The ChickPeas on their debut album Mojito. Brian now plays with the cover band Hidden Agenda, while continuing to write and create original material. An adventurer at heart, he juggles music with pickleball, golf, travel—and a sharp sense of humor. His ongoing collaborations with Ryan continue to explore fresh musical directions.

“Brian’s got a storyteller’s soul and a musician’s intuition. Whether it’s a lyric, a melody, or a wild idea, he brings an energy that keeps creativity flowing.”

John W Selleck

A great lyricist

Born to a migrant worker in Florida, John grew up listening to Hank Williams Sr. on a crackling AM radio in the cotton fields. Life took him from New Jersey libraries to farm jobs and a career in pediatric nursing. He rediscovered songwriting at 51, winning a global Country Christmas lyrics contest. Since then, he’s written 300+ demos and now collaborates from the Philippines. John’s heartfelt, witty lyrics reflect a life fully lived—and deeply felt

“Writing with John is like drawing from a well of real-life magic—you never get the same water twice, but it’s always refreshing.”— Ryan Dsouza

Juan El Grande

Artist & Music Curator

Based in Spain, Juan is a singer-songwriter who transitioned from live covers to releasing powerful original tracks, starting with Father. He also curates EGM Playlists, supporting global independent artists across streaming platforms. Ryan and Juan first connected in 2024 over playlisting—and quickly found creative synergy. Their first collaboration, a reimagined cover of Hurt by Johnny Cash was released in Jan 2025. More musical collaborations are in the works as their partnership deepens. Watch this space.

“Collaboration is about trust and vision. Juan and I connected instantly—two artists, one vibe. This is just a beginning”— Ryan Dsouza

Tony Dias

Keyboardist & Music Director

Tony Dias is a Mumbai-based pianist, keyboardist, and music director, holding a Trinity College of Music London degree. With years of experience performing in gig bands, hotel resident acts, and even a teaching stint in Dubai, Tony brings depth and versatility to every project. Ryan first performed alongside Tony in the early stages of his music journey. Today, the two have reunited creatively, co-producing original material, with a first single slated for release in late 2025.

“Tony brings precision, heart, and global flair to every note. Collaborating with him again feels like coming full circle—with even more music to make.”
